Animecon 2008 - Tampere

Last weekend (25-27.7.2008) was the Animecon 2008 at Tampere, Finland.
Damn we had such a fun trip!

We left at friday with 6 friends: Ktiraam, Vaylan, Windi, W, Gomenasai and L (not that L XP), with two cars. We drove to Caratra's and Namochan's house and left almost immediately to go shopping and to see more friends. We toured the city with a huge group of 11 people, playing around, joking and relaxing. At night we returned to get everything ready for the next day. (test make-up's and such). We sat around in the living room for a few hours, telling funny stories and my friend W freaked out another friend who's never been on our trips, by telling stories about his ex-boyfriends and their hairy backs. XD

Saturday morning we woke early and left as soon as everyone had their costume/make-up/stuff done. We had to hurry to the artists alley with Ktiraam and Caratra. The others spent the day roaming around the con. We met an online friend Kalmanen from DA at the con too, she was hanging out with us the whole saturday. (And we were supposed to meet on sunday but, uh, things got complicated).

We sold tons of prints and the manga sold better than we could have hoped. =D When we got out from the artists alley (Thank you for anyone who bought prints and the manga <3<3<3 It was awesome to meet so many online friends and fans <3) we went to eat and then left to change clothes.

At night we went back to the con area, there was an alcohol free party there that we wanted to see, but in the end we spent about 10 minutes there (it was very blaah) and then went to sit to the con park and tell perverted stories and to draw. XD We got back to Caratra's place at midnight and went to sleep almost immediately.

Sunday started... interestingly. ^^; I had a minor asthma attack. ^^; It's not fun not being able to breath, O.o. I packed quickly while wheezing and trying to breath and went to the balcony to wait for everyone else to get ready.


We were cosplaying Ebisu and Hayata (from Naruto) with Ktiraam. ^_^ (though I have red hair, oops). I was feeling slightly better when we got to the con area. We ran around the park and the con area all day with Ktiraam, taking pictures of people, buying manga and prints and seeing friends. In the afternoon we had a tiny y!meeting with 4 people (and one sister ;D). Me, Ktiraam, Pihlajatar and Porkkish drew this wonderful perverted collab (yaoi warning!!!) ^____^. Yayy, it was great to meet you guys ^___^ <3

Then it was time to head back home. All the way back to our home town I got to listen to W singing weird songs, he can remember a huuuge amount of song lyrics :-O I got home at night and I was so damn tired that I wasn't able to write this before ^^;
