Information about the story "Pain and Pleasure"

I started to write the "Pain and Pleasure" story in the spring of 2004. I had been rp'ing at lavenderEyes with a new character called Sajore (a vampire) for a very prief time but the rp ended for me before it even got started. I was already in love with the character so much, that I didn't want him to die, so I started to write my own story for him. Soon he fell in love. The rp was based in Menzoberranzan so it was pretty obvious he would fall in love with a drow if he would with anyone. It was a surprise for me too, when he slowly introduced the man he was in love with, how much I would get attached to these two. I can not help but to love both of them and keep on drawing and writing about them.

There are a lot of themes in Pain and Pleasure, which include many that are adult, which is why I suggest that no underage would read the story (nor looked at the NC-17 part of the pictures).

Sex is a big part of the Pain and Pleasure story. I am aware the boys in the story are a bit rough with each other, but I do whole heartedly support safe sex!!! Use condoms and lube, even when the boys in the story do not, since condoms do not exist in the world they are in. I am also a huuuuge supporter of equality for all, this is why the two main characters lovestory is so important to show what it really is; love, not only lust and craving. They really are soulmates, two parts of one whole.

So, as I mentioned, I support equality. And I am not only talking about homosexuality, gender or the colour of your skin, but also the equality of the "roles" in a relationship. I know a lot of people still use the age-old terms "seme" and "uke" in gay themed art and fiction. For me those terms do not exist. As simple as that. In a relationship there are two (or more) persons. In Sajore's and Xir'ag's case there are two men, one drow and one vampire. And that's how it always is. If you want to anger me easily, call my Xir'ag an uke. (Which he is NOT!) ;)

Bondage and BDSM is part of my art and the story, but I do not approve violence towards other people and rape is always wrong (not to mention illegal)! In BDSM one of the most important rules is, that the submissive person has the power, there are safewords and a safe enviroment where the scenes happen, so everything that does happen, is voluntary and both parties are in it for their and for their partners pleasure. I suggest reading books about the subject if you are interested of hearing about the rules more. Because there are many rules, which make bondage safe.

Violence and death is a big part of the story, since it is fantasy, and fantasy worlds are often very violent places. However, I am not a violent person. I pour all my frustration/anger/sorrow into the violent scenes and drawings and I do enjoy making them, but violence is good only when it's not real. In actual life I easily faint in sight of blood. Make love, not war! \/m

Why do you update the story so slow?
~ Because I’m a slow writer, especially when it’s not my native language that I’m writing with and because I want the chapters to be good so I check them over and over again before sending them to my beta. And because of low inspiration when it comes to writing, it's just slow. Very slow. But to assure you, the story is NOT dropped. =P
